**Join Our Team**

You will be the Assistant Underwriter and will report to the International Head of Accident & Health. As the Assistant Underwriter, your role will provide support and assistance to the Underwriting Team in the administration and servicing of underwriting risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensure risk information in the underwriting system has been correctly entered
- Assist the Underwriting Assistant in their tasks during busy periods to ensure deadlines are met and provide cover for the Underwriting Assistant when they are absent or unavailable
- Ensure all documentation in the document management system (including endorsements) has been scanned and maintained
- Communicate with brokers to obtain risk information and respond to enquiries
- Assist in the preparation of underwriting presentations
- Assist Underwriters in the preparation and issuance of quotes
- Monitor aggregate exposures
- Monitor and produce renewal documentation
- Support underwriters in the production of policy wordings
- Report on statistical and underwriting analysis of the portfolio of business
- Produce in-house reports monthly/quarterly or as requested
- Liaise with Finance and chase premium from clients, when requested
- Liaise with the Claims Department to monitor claims
- Collate and process bordereaux on binders/lineslips
- Process CSN entries, where there is no broker involvement
- Provide technical and administrative support to underwriters
- Adhere to all Sirius Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Adhere to all PRA/FCA and Lloyd's regulatory requirements
- Undertake additional related activities, as requested by the Line Manager
- Comply with Group and Audit Requirements
- Attend Underwriting Reviews and Underwriting Conferences where necessary
- To perform all duties in line with the FCA Individual Conduct Rules as documented in the Employee Handbook
- Any other duties as reasonably required
