Teach 195 is in partnership with a vibrant and forward-thinking educational institution dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The School that we are recruiting for are currently seeking a dynamic and adaptable Cover Teacher to join them and contribute to our students' success. This role is based in Alfreton, Derbyshire

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students during lessons.
- Adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to support students' educational needs.
- Providing feedback on students' progress to the regular classroom teacher.
- Upholding school policies and procedures at all times.
- Participating in school events and professional development activities as required.

**Essential Understandings**:

- Familiarity with the national curriculum and educational standards.
- Understanding of child development and classroom management techniques.
- Awareness of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and differentiation strategies.

**Required Experience and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a teaching or educational support role.
- Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about education.
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new environments and situations.
- Patient, empathetic, and capable of building positive relationships with students.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain high standards of professionalism.
- A proactive problem solver with a positive attitude.
