Trainee Cover Supervisor

Teachers UK are currently seeking Trainee Cover Supervisors who are either looking to gain classroom experience across a variety of secondary school settings before embarking on their teacher training or have previous experience of working with groups of children or young people.

We have a variety of day to day, short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities in secondary schools across Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

**Please note that experience is not necessary as full training will be provided**

**The role of a Trainee Cover Supervisor**:

- To provide classroom supervision in the event of the teacher being absent
- Make sure classrooms are kept tidy
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Report any potential safeguarding concerns
- Proactively make sure pupils are learning and engaged

Typical School hours are 8.30am-3.30pm. Any variance to this will be confirmed by your consultant prior to your assignment.
