**Special Needs Teaching Assistant**

The Supply Room are working with an array of Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Specialist Schools who are seeking individuals passionate about working in the Education Sector for roles supporting young people with Special Educational Needs.

The roles would be full-time and term time only, every Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 16:00pm (although the hours may differ slightly depending on the school).

**As a Teaching Assistant, your daily duties can include**:

- Supporting pupils learning and wellbeing one-to-one, in small groups, and across the class
- Assisting with supporting pupils academic and personal growth, liaising with the Class Teacher, SENCO, and therapy staff
- Building constructive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
- Managing behaviour, supervising pupils and reporting on progress
- Experience working with young people, vulnerable adults, or with Special Educational Needs
- Previous experience working within a school setting or nurseries is advantageous
- Be confident, innovative, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
