IWJS employs over 500 staff across various depots across the UK and due to our continued expansion, we are now looking for a Planner based out of our Woolpit depot.

As a planner you will be part of our Planning Department who are responsible for planning, scheduling and jeopardy management for our operational engineers across various regions.

As the Planner you will be responsible for ensuring delivery to highest SHEQW standards. You will be accountable for the operational resource / activities within areas of responsibility. You will take leadership from the Head Of Planning. You will own and oversee the delivery of assets to the client. You will ensures contract operations conform to client specification, statutory requirements and IWJS policies / procedures. You will ensures delivery of high levels of customer / end user satisfaction.

You will be responsible for supporting the lead role in forming strong and effective relationships with customers’ key representatives. You will ensure safety and wellbeing, performance across their contracts are followed. You will be responsible for ensuring planned work has a valid standard NRSWA notification where required. You will liaise with council/highway authorities for road closures/footpath closures, traffic management and complete the relevant forms as required.

You will ensure thorough validation is carried out prior to planning to eliminate potential cost of failures. You will also ensure customer commitments are maintained and completed on the first planned date. You will plan all teams an effective day to ensure daily performance can be achieved. You will ensure compliance with and use of the corporate systems such as RUD & Teamleaf.
