At Little Angels Nursery we are currently looking for a Senior EYP To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times. We are looking for a professional leader to help deliver an appropriate play based curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.

As a senior we would expect you to demonstrate fantastic leadership skills whilst;
- Working with parents and other professionals for the benefit of children and parents. Help ensure the nursery meets Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland requirements at all times.
- To work with other professionals in the local area for the benefit of children and families.
- To understand and work to nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
- To plan experiences relevant to the child's stage of development which ensure each child is working towards fulfilling their full potential.
- To fulfil effectively the role of key person. To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery aims and objectives.
- Have a good understanding of all current legislation and documentation such as; Realising the Ambition, HGIOELC, A Quality Framework, Health and Social Care Standards
- A minimum of 1 years previous experience of a senior or a minimum of 5 years as an EYP

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
