Applicants for this post will work on a project exploring the employment experiences and outcomes of neurodivergent graduates. You will work collaboratively within a small team led by Professor Michael Tomlinson to analyse survey and interview data on neurodivergent graduates’ employability and career development. Applicants will need to have advanced statistical knowledge and skills to help analyse two surveys comprising of 400 graduates and 100 employers respectively. They will be very familiar with performing inferential statistical analyses and using SPSS. Some knowledge of qualitative data analysis is ideal, but this is not essential. The successful applicant will be included in relevant future dissemination outputs.

**Job Purpose**:
To analyse survey data and some interview data within the specified research project under the supervision of the award holder.

**Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities**:

- To work with survey data, including helping with data cleaning and organising in order to perform analysis
- To analyse survey data and some interview data to help answer specific research questions central to the project
- Carry out administrative tasks associated with specified research funding, for example risk assessment of research activities, organisation of project meetings and documentation
- Implementation of procedures required to ensure accurate and timely formal reporting and financial control
- To help with the dissemination of project outcomes, including making data knowledge accessible to diverse audiences
- Any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder

**Essential Skills**:

- Detailed understanding and quantitative research, especially survey data and analysis
- Good knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS and presenting data to publishable form
- Able to organise own research activities to deadline and quality standards
- Able to develop original techniques/methods
- Work effectively in a team, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of others to help teamwork development
- Communicate new and complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing, engaging the interest and enthusiasm of the target audience
- Able to write up research results for publication in leading peer-viewed journals
- Understanding of relevant Health and Safety issues
- Positive attitude to colleagues and students
