We are recruiting for a Progression Worker in our Liverpool Team

The post is 35 hours per week with flexible working hours.

**The role of Progression Workers**

The role of a Progression Worker is to engage with young people supporting them in making successful transitions into Education, Employment and Training.

You will be expected to use innovative methods and approaches to engage those young people who have had a mínimal contact with the service.

You’ll carry out telephone calls, face to face interviews and attend home visits and will build respectful and trusting relationships with young people and their families who face difficulties/disadvantages through life, learning or work.

You will need to be able to get to residential areas and navigate through lists of follow up. A car would therefore be an advantage, whilst not essential for the role if you're able to travel via public transport.

You’ll work as part of a highly motivated and friendly team with excellent links with partners and the wider community.
