As Sales Developer within Datech, one of our specialist Business Unit’s, you will own this exciting dual role. The first aspect will include making contact with prospects and customers with the objective of introducing our partners and their solutions and services to end users. The second aspect is to be responsible for a selection of Autodesk products and partners and drive their programs to ensure the business growth goal is achieved.
Accountabilities:
- Build excellent partner relationships through proactive engagement
- Generate new business opportunities
- Be able to identify potential opportunities where value add can be provided to a partner and sales leads can be created
- Be able to manage leads to partners
- Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targets as a team
- Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Engages in active inside selling by gathering relevant internal and external customer information and developing activities to drive appropriate customer engagements
- Sell the benefits of using Tech Data and the Company value proposition
- Develops partner relationships
- Full training is provided
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others
- Enjoy talking to customers and be confident with communication skills
- Great at building relationships
- Able to quickly learn new systems and technology
- Good attention to detail
- Strives to achieve targets
- An interest in software would be helpful to be able to learn the position but this is not essential
