The Improvement Hub has been established to take a leading role in working with the Clinical and Corporate Divisions to facilitate the delivery of the Trust’s Improvement Priorities, contributing to the aims of the wider Pennine Lancashire Integrated Care Partnership.

The main purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the Improvement Hub Team. An organisational flair and attention to detail are essential, together with the possession of good communication skills. There is a necessity to deal with members of staff across the organisation in all disciplines and all levels. The role requires a high level of organisation and ability to prioritise to enable a flexible and responsive approach to support the Improvement Hub team members in delivering the Trust’s Improvement Priorities.
- Provide a confidential, comprehensive administrative support and secretarial service to the Senior Leadership Team
- Oversee and manage the Improvement Hub calendar and Absence and Event Planner
- Manage diaries for Senior Leadership Team, maximising effective use of their time
- Arrange and book room bookings for meetings, improvement events and education and training sessions
- Ensure filing, photocopying and other general clerical or typing duties are carried out daily to maintain an efficient service
- Organise and attend core Improvement Hub Team and any other meetings as and when requested
- Ensure that the team has sufficient supplies of stationary, equipment and other materials to maintain an efficient service
- Undertake any other administrative/secretarial work in agreement with the Senior Leadership Team for the Improvement Hub

Beyond the Improvement Practice methodology and improvement priority workstreams is the fundamental principle of building improvement into our management system so that it becomes a part of everything we do, bringing together planning, improvement and quality contract and assurance and creating a culture of improvement and learning across the organisation.
