**Role Overview**

As Head of Hosting for Bupa Global & UK (BGUK) you’ll help to ensure our Enterprise Platforms support our needs. You’ll lead our Technology Hosting Function to deliver their portfolio of services in line with budget, risk, and service expectations. Your accountability will include CSIP, cyber security (including regular testing where appropriate), resilience, disaster recovery and pro-active lifecycle management & strategy across the assigned IT hosting portfolio.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead a team of c100 hosting specialists and engineers (permenant, domestic contract and sourcing partner resources.).
- Contribute to the formation of IT strategies and provide products and services aligned to those strategies. Also support with annual budget planning and management.
- Influence the development and enhancement of IT Enterprise Platforms and Services.
- Work in partnership with the BGUK Technology Strategy & Architecture function to define the 2 to 3 year roadmap for the assigned Hosting platforms and services portfolio.
- Ensure that Enterprise Platforms projects and change delivery comply with Bupa technology, Digital, Security, other relevant policies & governanc,and resulatory requirements.

**What you’ll bring**:

- A proven track record in data centre hosting and cloud hosting technologies
- Experience of managing vendors in relation to data centre &/ cloud hosting technologies.
- Extensive experience of managing stakeholders at an Executive level and experience of successfully influencing a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong leadership with the ability to build, develop, lead and motivate teams
- Strong programme and project management skills with previous experience of leading significant technology transformation projects
- Experience and high level of understanding of risk and technology security management
- Significant 3rd party management experience, including enterprise level outsourcing of change, run and transformation.
- Ideally holds a relevant qualification (preferably PRINCE2 Practitioner and ITIL qualified)
