**Role**: Health & Fire Safety Advisor

**Location**: Regional Travel

**The Position**:
Working within an ever-growing property management company the role requires a motivated and knowledgeable individual to carry out Health, Safety and Fire Safety advice and risk assessments across our customer portfolio sites. The individual will also be required to carry out Fire Door inspections within the required buildings to meet with new Building Safety Regulations. The successful applicant needs to be a good team worker but also have the ability to work safely independently. You will report to the organisations Health, Safety and Compliance Manager.
- Undertake regular site Fire Risk Assessment and Health and Safety Assessment.
- Carry out Fire Door Inspections to buildings that are over 11 meters in height within our customer portfolio.
- Ensure buildings conform to the latest Fire Related building regulations and technical standards.
- Provide health and safety advice to associates within the organisation to assist their health, safety and wellbeing.
- Working with various organisational departments plan required remediation works on assessed sites to ensure any work is completed to the required standard by competent contractors.
- Provide a practical and methodical approach to solving problems linked to Health, Safety and Fire Safety of sites.
- Undertake Health and Safety tasks for your Geographical area for your team. Including display screen assessments and workplace monitoring.

**Required Experience and Qualifications**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ equivalent.
- NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk management or Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
- Fire Door Inspection Qualification (Desirable)
- IOSH Technical Member or working towards
- IFE/IFSM/IFPO Member (beneficial)
- Fire Engineering qualification (beneficial)
- Fire Compartmentation qualification (beneficial)
- Previous experience in a Health and Safety Advisory Role (beneficial)
- Previous experience in a Fire Safety Role (beneficial)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£47,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
