As a Procurement Buyer, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the timely procurement of tools and equipment while maintaining cost efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to source and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring that we secure the best prices and terms for their products. You will work closely with the procurement team and other departments to meet the company's objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and competitive pricing.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, delivery delays, and invoice discrepancies.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to establish reliable and sustainable partnerships.
- Stay updated on industry developments, new products, and emerging trends

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Procurement Buyer or in a similar role within the hire tool industry is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve supplier issues.
- Sound knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
