**Join our Team at Cadbury Heath Primary School (BS30) as an After School Club Assistant**

**Start Date: ASAP**

**Salary: Grade 13, £22,737.00 FTE per annum**

**(Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £4,463.43 p.a.)**

**Contract: Permanent**

**Hours: 8 hours and 40 minutes per week (3.20pm - 5.30pm Monday - Thursday) term time only (38 weeks)**

**The Role**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and caring individual to join our team as an After School Club Assistant. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of our pupils during their after-school hours.

We need you to:

- Be warm, positive, caring and fully committed to the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of our children.
- Maintain a calm and consistent approach,, fostering a nurturing atmosphere for our children.
- Work well as part of a team but also able to use your own initiative.
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive outlook.
- Be fully supportive of the school’s approach to outdoor play and our ‘whatever the weather’ approach.
- Have the communication skills necessary to act as a link between the children, the other lunchbreak staff and the rest of the adults working in school.
- Be prepared to fully participate in training and professional development where applicable to the post.
- Understand the need for and adhere to strictest standards of confidentiality.

**Fluency Duty**:
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide instructions, advice and guidance in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
