De la Rue are currently recruiting for an Information Security & Assurance Specialist to provide information assurance services including audit and advice to Divisional information owners and staff to ensure full understanding of key customer information security and assurance requirements.

This role will assist in the design and implementation of programs for user awareness, compliance monitoring and security compliance audits within the Information and Assurance Team and the wider Security, HSE & Risk Team.

This is not a technical role however experience of implementation / support activities within an IT environment is an advantage, as is an Information Security related qualification e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA.

It is a permanent role which is full-time, based at our Head Office in Basingstoke.

**What will I be doing?**
- You will create and maintain risk assessments in line with Group Risk methodology.
- Organise vulnerability assessments and penetration tests and coordinate Remedial Action Plans.
- Perform internal security and assurance audits against customer, regulatory requirements and ISO standards. Audits may be required to be performed at remote sites including overseas on occasion.
- Assist with Security Awareness training on both a group and individual basis when required.
- Providing initial response and assistance for security questions from employees, customers and 3rd party suppliers.
- Represent Information Security at change forums, and project meetings.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are maintained.

**What qualifications, experience and skills are we looking for?**
- Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) an advantage.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Information Security Assurance and Governance.
- Good knowledge of risk assessment principles.
- Good knowledge of security and control frameworks, such as ISO27001/2.
- Broad knowledge of general and security technology and standards, such as server security, firewalls networks, TCP/IP, encryption etc.
- Must achieve UK Govt. Security Clearance and hold a current Driving Licence
- Knowledge of agile development methodology and DevSecOps would be an advantage.
