Apprentice Furniture Manufacturer

**Furniture Manufacturer Apprenticeship Opportunity Available at L&J Furniture, Oldham OL8 2JP**

Furniture Manufacturers are skilled craftsmen/women who make pieces of furniture. They may work in a small, independent shop that produces custom furniture or in a factory that mass-produces pieces of furniture. They will manufacture furniture such as:

- Domestic - kitchens, bedrooms, living room and other items for the home
- Office - desk, seating, tables and other items for the office environment
- Contract - furniture for public areas such as hospitals, schools, hotels and airports
- Manufacture of high quality wooden components

With nine different styles and four colours that can be mixed and matched, their furniture is well suited to a traditional or contemporary setting. The inspiration comes from the founding company ‘Harrison Brothers (Furniture) Ltd’ which was incorporated in 1979.

The main sectors of supply are retail, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Private Rental Sectors (PRS), HMO / SA landlords and we also supply to the healthcare division with some dementia and care home friendly ranges.

Shift times Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm.

As this is an apprenticeship, you will be required to attend Tameside College one day a week.
