Retail Supervisor

**Permanent Retail Supervisor required for local charitable organisation based in Larne.**

**Job Purpose**:
To supervise the charity shop whilst ensuring an efficient and effective management of all volunteer assistants, premises, stock and providing a quality retail service.

Recognise opportunities for shop development to include gaining donations, recycling, selling online, utilising social media platforms to maximise sales and increase profitability.

**Duties will include**:

- Maximise sales of donated goods and products to maximise sales.
- Ensure appropriate systems/procedures of donated goods are maintained, dated, priced, fit for purpose in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Bank deposits
- Key holder, open and close the shop premises and to respond to any emergency call out if required.
- Provide an excellent customer service
- Assisting the Retail Manager with, publicising the charity retail shops, and preparing monthly sales reports
- Promote, organise special events and promotions in order to capitalise on opportunities presented by the shop.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, support and supervision of the volunteer assistants.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous retail supervisory experience to include stock control, rotation and merchandising.
- Excellent customer service skills
- IT proficient with the ability to utilise social media and online selling platforms.

**Hours of work**: Tuesday - Saturday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm

**Salary: £11.28 per hr**
