Retail Supervisor

Permanent Retail Supervisor required for local charitable organisation based in Larne. Job Purpose: To supervise the charity shop whilst ensuring an efficient and effective management of all volunteer assistants, premises, stock and providing a quality retail service. Recognise opportunities for shop development to include gaining donations, recycling, selling online, utilising social media platforms to maximise sales and increase profitability. Duties will include: Maximise sales of donated goods and products to maximise sales. Ensure appropriate systems/procedures of donated goods are maintained, dated, priced, fit for purpose in accordance with agreed procedures. Bank deposits Key holder, open and close the shop premises and to respond to any emergency call out if required. Provide an excellent customer service Assisting the Retail Manager with, publicising the charity retail shops, and preparing monthly sales reports Promote, organise special events and promotions in order to capitalise on opportunities presented by the shop. Assist in the recruitment, training, support and supervision of the volunteer assistants. Essential Criteria: Previous retail supervisory experience to include stock control, rotation and merchandising. Excellent customer service skills IT proficient with the ability to utilise social media and online selling platforms.
