Haylie House is a 26 bedded Residential Home providing excellent standards of care and support; through promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

We are looking to recruit a **Relief Carer for day and night shift** to join our team.

**Essential Experience / Criteria**

A Carer will be:

- A motivated and caring individual.
- Able to maintain accurate written records of residents’ daily activities.
- Able to communicate effectively with other members of the staff team, residents and their relatives.
- Have a legal right to work in the UK

Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia, is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities:

- Promote a homely, therapeutic environment, which encourages independence and meets the needs of each individual.
- Safeguard the residents at all times.
- Assist and support residents with all identified care need in line with the Health & Social Care Standards.
- Promote mental and physical wellbeing of residents through engaging and interactive activities.
