**About us**

British Airways Interiors Engineering (BAIE) are our aircraft interiors and safety product specialists. BAIE’s capability includes the repair, modification and overhaul for all our seating products including; World Traveller, Business, First Class and Crew seats, the repair and maintenance of crucial safety systems including; evacuation systems slides, life jackets, survival packs, also the repair of interior components including; overhead bins and doors. BAIE also manufacture carpets for all aircraft in the BA fleet.

**Role title** - Planning and analysis Assistant

**Role purpose** - produce key business reporting, develop data analysis tools, effectively prioritise load through BAIE workshops and manage other operator work as the BAIE focal.

**Accountabilities**
- Produce key business reporting data
- Develop new and innovative data analysis reports and tools
- Focal point for other operator customer work at BAIE, key contact for other operator customers
- Maintaining and developing planning systems, processes and documentation
- Analyse data and produce business and statistical reports as required
- Facilitate planning and reporting process by highlighting priorities and requirements to all parties as required.
- Work with stakeholders to plan the safety workshop products, carpet cutting plan and off base working plan
- Continuously improving the accuracy of load and materials plans for BAIE
- Preparation and progression of bids for other operator work or contracts
- Providing quotations to other operator work at BAIE, ensuring profitability
- Develop customer relationships
- Ensure the integrity of data
- Producing short, medium and long term load plan
- Produce regular business reports, including daily, weekly and end of month financial report
- Generate performance measures and metrics

**Skills / capabilities**
- Highly skilled in data manipulation
- Capable of producing new analysis methods
- Work with all areas of the business to develop tools and reports
- Excellent planning skills
- Work well under pressure and respond in a timely manner to requests for data or analysis
- Highly skilled in MS Excel and/or other data manipulation tools
- knowledge of SAP
- Managing the BAIE bespoke planning tools
- Analysis and interpretation of data.
- Project management skills with strengths in providing analytical analysis to influence direction and decision making.
- Problem-solving and influencing skills
- Excellent IT written, communication, oral and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise and demonstrate good time management skills.

**Qualifications / experience**
- Minimum 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade C or above, including English and Maths, HNC/HND or Degree level is desirable.
- 2 years experience of working at an MRO/similar environment or working in data analysis desirable.
- Experience of working the SAP system (or equivalent) desirable

**Salary**: £24,800.00-£26,800.00 per year
