Sidmouth Tyres & Exhausts Ltd is a local tyre supply and fitting centre serving Sidmouth and the surrounding area. Offering personal service and local knowledge along with an excellent range of tyre brands to suit all pockets and vehicles. As well as tyres we also offer wheel balancing and tracking.
**Responsibilities**:
- Financial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll. Reconcile accounts, manage receivables and payables, and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Input service details, customer information, and inventory data into the garage's management software. Maintain organized and comprehensive records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Administrative Support: Assist in the overall administrative functions of the garage, including managing employee schedules, maintaining employee records, and assisting with basic HR tasks.
- Compliance: Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to accounting, taxes, and automotive services. Ensure the garage's adherence to legal requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in microsoft office software and tools, with a strong attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, appointments, and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and the garage team professionally.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and services is a plus but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, administrative support, or a similar role is desirable.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
