**We are seeking an Apprentice to join our team at our new site in Stalybridge.**

As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in a supportive and dynamic work environment. This is a paid position that offers growth potential and the chance to learn from experienced professionals.

We are a family-owned business that delivers fire prevention and protection services through a team of specialised professionals. Our services include but not limited to, repairs, maintenance, servicing, and installations.

We are a small office in comparison to the work and we promote teamwork amongst our employees.

Together, we work towards safeguarding residential and commercial properties against the hazards of fire while providing peace of mind to our clients.

We have potential progression to full time employment for the right apprentice.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- To provide administrative support for the company
- Answering routine telephone enquiries, taking messages, and forwarding them onto the relevant person as required
- Typing documents and reports
- Data entry into our asset maintenance software
- Complete general clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, opening and distribution of mail
- Working towards your Advanced Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard

**Working hours**:
Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 5.00pm (flexible - hours between 35 and 40 per week)

**Desirable skills and qualities**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Typing skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- **Please note that this is a paid apprenticeship position. You will be paid the apprenticeship wage of £6.40/hour for the first 12 months of the apprenticeship.**_

Pay: From £6.40 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
