**Overview:**

As a company, we are on the lookout for intelligent mathematical minds that can improve our business for the better.

We have a 16-month Software Development role.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
You will be working as part of the core internal development team, primarily focussing on the following:

- Data integration Management - We use SSIS to import data streams, one of your tasks will be to integrate with large financial firms to import data into our SQL Database.
- Understanding financial technical requirements and implementing them into live technology either via your own code fixes or by specification.
- Working on all points of the Development cycle, you will get the chance to understand the whole development cycle in our business, not just coding.
- Report Writing - You will use report writing software to produce templates to meet client requirements.

**Entry requirements**:
7 GCSE's total:

- English GCSE grade D or above
- Other 6 GCSE's, including Maths, to be C or above

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

37.5hrs a week.

**Future prospects:**

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

**Important Information**:
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
