**Job description**

We are currently seeking a Warehouse controller in our warehouse in Darwen, England.

Reporting to the UK Internal Supervisor, your role will involve managing warehouse stock and monitoring daily deliveries to enhance the supply chain process. You will work closely with a select group of suppliers and logistics partners to deliver top-notch customer service and handle the administrative duties associated with the preparation and dispatch of daily orders.

**Key Duties and responsibilities**
- Order Preparation:

- Oversee daily order administration through SAP for picking and shipping.
- Assist in the pick and pack process.
- Coordinate and complete shipments, including special handling for non-standard orders requiring particular packaging.
- Shipping/Administration:

- Resolve any transportation and delivery problems.
- Stock Management:

- Administer incoming and outgoing stock orders in SAP, from receiving to fulfilling customer orders.
- Conduct stock control tasks, including cycle counts, adjustments, and managing item placement.
- Work with the UK Sales Manager to determine and address stock shortages and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ongoing Improvement:

- Suggest and implement actions to enhance the efficiency of Prevost UK's logistics processes.

**Experience & competencies**
- Experience in warehouse operations, including pick and pack procedures.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving protocols, including international and domestic transport issues.
- Good knowledge of SAP for inventory management and order processing.
- Strong organizational skills for managing shipments, especially those requiring special packaging.
- Good communication skills with the customers, suppliers, and transport partners.
- Capable to address transportation issues promptly.
- Thorough knowledge of stock control practices, including cycle counts and stock adjustments.
- Proven ability to collaborate with sales and management teams to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Commitment to continuous process improvement and ability to propose practical solutions.
- A background in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £19,406.78-£30,000.00 per year
