**MRP Controller**

**Salary £25-30k DOE**

**Blackburn, Lancashire**

**Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm)**

We are currently recruiting an MRP Controller to plan and manage the raw materials and packaging inventory to ensure timely delivery to meet the production plan while maintaining accurate stock profiles and adhering to space restrictions.

You’ll be joining the business at a time of real exciting change with growth on the agenda

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for a well-organised individual who has previous MRP/stock control experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally food manufacturing. You’ll have strong IT skills with previous experience working with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

You’ll be a natural communicator, both verbally and written, and be able to build strong collaborative relationships and deliver to tight time scales.

**The role of an MRP Controller at BBF**
- Liaise with the planner & using the forecast calculate volumes of raw materials and packaging required to fulfil short and long-term plans aiming for 100% availability.
- Create daily/weekly supplier purchase orders in line with lead times/contracts and MOQs, notifying the planner and the wider business of potential supply issues that could impact service.
- Maintain & build excellent relationships with all suppliers, resolving any issues with suppliers directly.
- Accurately monitor stock levels, keeping in line with inventory stock holding targets and budget.
- Working with the procurement & warehouse team to identify any future potential space restrictions and resolve them.
- Maintain & improve the MRP files.
- Produce KPI reports as required.
- Assist in the setting up of production plans if required and provide cover for the planner during holidays & absences.
