**The Opportunity**

Due to our ongoing business growth, we have an exciting opportunity to be part of our HR team. We are currently recruiting for an HR ADVISOR to join our busy HR team - based in Stockton on Tees supporting and delivering people excellence and improvement. The role will be part of a team providing generalist support to all employees.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer your responsibilities include:

- Recruitment and selection design, development and delivery.
- Supporting, delivering and implementing organisational change and development
- Training and development advice, guidance, contribution to asset training meetings, succession and people planning & competency.
- Policies and procedural guidance and coaching
- Conduct & capability via performance management, discipline & grievance.
- Employee relations and engagement, health and wellbeing.

The successful HR professional will be positive, pragmatic, have a can do, problem-solving attitude, with a passion and purpose for supporting employees in having the best working experience. Working in a range of business units including industrial settings, we’re looking for a confident communicator who can support a wide range of employees at all level. The ability to travel is essential.

**Minimum Requirements**:To be successful you’ll have as a minimum:
Working towards or CIPD qualified, ideally chartered.

Experience in:

- Delivering generalist HR activities and results in a multi-site role ideally within an energy, processing or engineering environment.
- Experience in recruitment, learning and development, employee practices and engagement.
- Developing, advising and providing practical HR support, guidance and solutions.
- Developing new ways of working and adapting to the changing world of business
- HR administration, systems and practice updating and improving.

In return, you’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
