**Responsibilities**
1. To follow the policies and procedures of ANA Nursing at all times
2. To portray a professional image and represent the company in line with the Company’s high standards at all time
3. Cares for clients with physical or cognitive (e.g., Alzheimer’s) impairments
4. Provides support, encouragement, and companionship by engaging clients in activities, such as playing games, visiting places, taking walks or having conversation
5. Handling household chores, laundry, dishes, changing sheets and other basic cleaning
6. Assist clients with household in some light shopping.
7. Arrange and schedule actives to stay on top of clients well-being and needs
8. Help with self-care. The duties will include personal care such as assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, the management of continence and rising & retiring
9. Assists with ambulation and mobility as needed
10. Engage client in muscle stretching and strengthening exercises as needed to improve range of motion
11. Contribute to the movement and handling of people who use our services to maximise their physical abilities and mobility
12. Enable people who use our services to maintain their personal hygiene and appearance
13. Enable people who use our services to achieve physical comfort
14. Assisting in the preparation and making of meals, drinks and snacks
15. Dispenses and administers medication as directed my medical providers
16. To provide assistance with other tasks of daily living that people who use our services cannot manage alone
17. Enable people who use our services to manage their domestic and personal resources
18. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of their environment
19. To provide social support such as talking and listening to people who use our services, helping them maintain contact with family and friends
20. Enable people who use our services to maintain contacts in potentially isolating situation
21. Promote effective communications and relationships.
22. To record all actions and information within the home in a clear, legible and professional manner
23. To report all changes in the health and social circumstances of people who use our services to the Registered Manager as soon as practical
24. Receive, transmit, store and retrieve information in a confidential manner
25. To work as part of a team with colleagues and work closely with other agencies and professionals involved in the care of people who use our services, for example District Nurse
26. Contribute to the effectiveness of work teams
27. To prompt people who use our services to take their medication as identified by the support plan. Care Workers must not administer or advise on the use of medication of any type.
28. Contribute to the ongoing support of people who use our services and others significant to them
29. To work in accordance with the weekly work schedule and complete timesheets in a clear, legible manner including obtaining the signature of the people who use our services except in cases where it is known that the person is unable to sign.
30. Maintain a written agreed record of work completed
31. To attend any training provided by the company and to attend meetings, and reviews regarding the people who use our services as required
32. Develop one’s own knowledge and practice
33. To undertake all duties in accordance with the company policies and procedures, and abide at all times by the General Social Care Council Code of Practice. Of particular importance are policies relating to Prevention and Detection of Abuse and Confidentiality.13. Dispenses and administers medication as directed my medical providers.

3. Have training in social care (care certificate)
