Salary: Grade 4. The starting pro rata salary is £19,240 and the full time equivalent is £22,369.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and conscientious Admin and Finance Officer to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School. The role is a permanent role starting as soon as possible.
This is a Grade 4 post, working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days. The starting pro rata salary is £19,240 and the full time equivalent is £22,369. All-year round working patterns may be considered.
Main purpose of the job:
Under the direction of the School Administrator, provide an efficient, responsive and high quality administrative and financial support to the school.
Key Duties:
1) To arrange payment of invoices, liaise with suppliers as appropriate and raise invoices.
2) Undertake routine financial administration procedures, ensuring that work is accurate, of a high standard and is in accordance with the school financial procedures and regulations, whilst ensuring the efficient delivery of consistent financial reporting.
3) Ensure the safe receipt handling and banking of monies and cheques received.
4) To maintain, record and update all administrative information systems and procedures as required, including retrieving and collating information to a high standard.
5) To undertake reception duties, dealing with routine and face and face enquiries and signing in visitors.
Key relationships:
The post holder will report to the School Administrator. Apart from other colleagues in the school, the main contacts of the job are the head teacher, teaching and other support staff, pupils and parents.
