**Salary**: £33,000 - £35,000
**Role Type**: Full-time, permanent

**Position**:
**Purpose of the Role**:
As the HR Advisor you will report into the HR Manager and will support colleagues to resolve issues related to the employment and management of staff, whilst supporting employees with challenges relating to welfare and employment. Within your remit you will look after circa 600 employees. This will be a fast paced and varied role where you will be responsible for providing guidance and support with HR Policy and procedures, ensure employee relations are managed appropriately, build and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders and review and monitor employee records (maternity, paternity, sickness, absence). In addition, you will promote company values, encourage engagement of others and will assist with various projects.
As a HR Advisor you will have the following roles and responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment process to ensure that a fair and legally compliant recruitment process is followed throughout the business, including advertising vacancies, liaising with agencies, shortlisting applicants, conducting interviews and compiling offer letters and contracts.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding and induction process for new hires.
- To offer support and guidance to managers with all aspects of employee relations, including absence management and disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- To ensure the maintenance of accurate and legally compliant HR and training databases.
- Participate in and lead HR project work.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, health and safety, and equality and diversity.
- Design and coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Ensure health and safety policies are observed and adhered to.
- Carry out all work practices in line with the Company Health and Safety culture.
- Produce reports on relevant HR statistics when requested.
- Provide information, advice and answer queries related to company benefits including pension and health care cash plan.
- Management of company’s childcare voucher scheme.
**Requirements**:
- Must hold Level 3 or above CIPD qualification
- Must have a good understanding of UK employment law and best practices
- Proficient in MS Office and HR software systems
- Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills as well as relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have a valid driving licence
- Must have flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away overnight when required
