The HR Business Partnering Team supports the development and implementation of people strategies to more than 17,500 staff across faculties, professional services and Vice Provost/Presidents’ Offices, which includes academic, clinical, research, teaching and faculty/central professional services staff.

**About the role**:
UCL is currently looking to appoint an accomplished senior HR leader as Head of HR, Professional Services & VPO Offices. This key HR leadership appointment will support a portfolio of faculties, the central professional services departments and VP offices including; -Vice President (Operations) -Vice President (Strategy) -Vice President (Advancement) -Vice President (External Engagement) Reporting to UCL's Director of HR Business partnering, this exciting opportunity will play a key role in supporting the delivery of UCL’s HR Strategy and will be responsible for the on-going development of a team of HR Business Partners. The Head of HR, Professional Services & VPO Offices will lead University wide People Projects and ensure implementation as well as working in conjunction with the wider HR group to train and coach senior leaders as appropriate. Key Responsibilites -Manage and resolve complex scenarios in conjunction with colleagues across the HR organisation. -Monitor and interpret HR analytics and share insights -Lead on succession planning and talent management ensuring UCL has a diverse talent pipeline -Work with the Vice Presidents and the Central EDI team on improving the diversity and equity across faculties -Work with the Vice Presidents and the Organisational Development team on local training and development plans to ensure strong succession -Support the Vice Presidents to ensure the embedding of UCL Ways of Working and good practices when delivering their responsibilities in the Performance Management and Development cycle -Support Vice Presidents and the Workplace Health team to embed a culture of wellbeing within the Divisions. -Support organisational change

**About you**:
You will be a driven and ambitious HR leader with both a strategic and operational focus with a track record of delivery with impact gained in complex, matrix organisations. You will have experience of developing and implementing HR strategies with impact as well as supporting the development and implementation of workforce planning, succession planning and talent management strategies. You will have the ability to move projects forward, combined with an aptitude for energising cohesive teams to deliver UCL's strategic and operational HR goals. You will also possess excellent communication and influencing skills including the ability to champion the collegiality UCL values, and advocate well.
