As a Nursing Home trainer your role is full time, to provide mandatory training and coaching to the Carers and teams a. You will be responsible for the planning, deliver and evaluation of a range of learning and development activities including formal induction programmes, for all frontline staff including the domestic/laundry and catering teams. You will also be responsible for ensuring the home is fully compliant with regards to staff training.

As a Nursing home Trainer It is essential that you have the following knowledge and

experience:
- Level 3 Award in Teaching & Education
- Minimum of Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
- Moving & Handling Train the Trainer
- Delivering the Care Certificate to new entrants
- Refresher training to existing Care Assistants
- Undertake supervisions and observations with Care Assistants to support them
- Support the office team with the running of the service
- Be involved in supporting with the outside out of hours
- Knowledge of the Health & Social Care Standards & Policies
- Have the ability to inspire and stand up and deliver training
- Formal presentations
- Coaching and influencing
- All documentation is stored electronically, therefore good IT skills are essential for this role
