**Product Specialist**

**Automotive software SaaS - fleet**

A **Product Specialist / Business Analyst** is required to join an international provider of automotive **software (SaaS)**. The Product Specialist / Business Analyst will support the development and implementation of software products for the automotive fleet sector through collaboration with customers and data and technology teams.

Hybrid working with some European travel

Ideal location - Reading, Slough, Watford, Farnborough, Newbury, Thatcham, Basingstoke, Farnham, Alton, Winchester, Harlow, Chelmsford, Bishop's Stortford, Ilford, Basildon, Dartford, Maldon
- Salary:_circa £35-40k + 3% Bonus + 25 days holiday (plus UK bank holidays)_
- The Role_
- Provide support to the Product Manager at all stages of the **product lifecycle** to deliver successful **software solutions** through **market research**, **product development** and rollout.
- **Develop product requirements** and work with software development teams to prioritise and implement these requirements.
- Create a **product strategy** and coordinate efforts with various business functions including marketing, sales, billing etc. to rollout or enhance products.
- Assist in the development and presentation of **business cases for new products**.
- Identify areas for improvement, partnering with sales, customer success and marketing to increase sales.
- **Analyse** product and customer **data** and prepare required **reports**.
- Conduct **market research** including customer surveys and one on one conversations and monitor this feedback.
- Complete and provide reports on **competitor analysis**.
- Prepare and deliver **presentations** to drive engagement and awareness.
- Develop and manage relationships with OEMs, third parties and industry professionals.
- Proven experience in a **product ownership / analyst** role with a technical appreciation for **software (SaaS) products** - you don't need to be a programmer
- An understanding of the **automotive fleet and lease** market or **automotive software** such as **dealer management systems (DMS)** is highly advantageous.
- The ability to **interact with key customers** and develop strong working relationships.
- Previous experience or an understanding of **Agile** methodology is desirable as is **scrum**certifications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Above all you should be **customer focussed**, **organised** and **adaptable**.
