**General Description**
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for supporting with all finance functions across the business ensuring timely processing of payroll, invoicing, and reporting. With an attention to detail and a passion for numeracy, you will accurately process various financials across the business including a weekly temporary worker payroll, a monthly employee payroll and the management of all incoming and outgoing cash sales.
**Key Responsibilities (to be offered with training)**:
- Management of the sales and purchase ledger
- Management of invoicing
- Management of all credit control including credit notes where necessary
- Completion of all bank account reconciliations
- Management of the company cashflow and supporting systems to ensure this is up to date and accurate
- Processing of weekly temporary worker payroll across all divisions providing hours reports
- Processing of monthly employee payroll following training
- Dealing with any payroll and invoicing enquiries
- Completion of new vendor and supplier forms
- Management of the Xero financing system
- Completion of end of year filing
- Processing of expenses and credit card statements
- Any other ad-hoc administration requests from the leadership team
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Finance and accounts experience
- GCSE’s at grade C or higher in Math’s and English
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong use of MS Excel to advanced use
- Well organised working manner
- Have a good eye for detail
- Methodical in working approach
