**Hotel Reception Supervisor**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Reception Supervisor to join our team. As a Reception Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel's front desk. Your leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a positive guest experience. This is a position with a competitive hourly rate of £12.75.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Check-In/Check-Out**: Supervise and assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and motivate the reception team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional guest service.
- **Guest Relations**: Interact with guests, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a welcoming and memorable stay.
- **Reservations**: Manage reservations and room assignments, optimizing room availability and guest satisfaction.
- **Shift Management**: Oversee the shift, including assignment of tasks, workload distribution, and coordination with other departments.
- **Problem Resolution**: Handle guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
- **Safety and Security**: Ensure the safety and security of guests and the property, following hotel security protocols.
- **Communication**: Maintain clear and effective communication with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services, including housekeeping and maintenance.
- **Guest Records**: Maintain accurate guest records, including contact information, special requests, and preferences.

**Qualifications**:

- **Reception Experience**: Previous experience in a reception or front desk role, with supervisory experience preferred.
- **Customer Service**: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and inspire staff.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle guest requests and bookings accurately.
- **Computer Skills**: Proficiency in using computer systems for check-ins, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
