**Head of License**

**A little about the role;**
As Head of License you will be responsible for strategically driving the License business to maximise the commercial potential of license, ensuring Primark is a market leading destination for Licenced product.

You will lead the License commercial team on the delivery of all commercial aspects of License campaigns including end to end campaign management - ensuring product vision is delivered, commercial growth is maximised and campaigns are delivered on time.

You will build a culture of innovation and creativity within your team and across Primark’s Product teams, providing a clear vision and sense of direction in working towards a common goal. You will develop and empower your team; fostering a high-performing culture through target-setting, performance evaluation and employee engagement.

You will be focused on delivering trend led campaigns that continue to surprise and delight our customers, while remaining commercially competitive and fulfilling Primark’s value proposition. You will ensure our strategy is adaptable and maintain flexibility to deliver customer needs.

You will possess significant senior level commercial experience including demonstrated experience managing external 3rd party relationships successfully. You will be accountable for managing external relationships with Licensors/Licensees as relevant.

We operate a hybrid working model at Primark and this role is primarily based between London/Primark House on average 3 days per week. International travel is a requirement as part of this role as well as regular travel to our HQ in Dublin.

**What we’re looking for;**
- 10 years of experience in the fashion buying industry with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
- 5 years’ experience within the License industry, with extensive knowledge working collaboratively with senior external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation and execution of Product strategies and campaign ideation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, team based, deadline-oriented environment
- The ability to effectively manage complex tasks and prioritise multiple projects and competing priorities and influence.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coach, guide and mentor while ensure the team achieves its goals
- Strong creative vision and ability to foster and encourage a culture of creativity within your team
- Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in creating a high-performance culture through target setting, performance evaluation, and employee engagement.
- Demonstrated experience creating effective relationships internally and externally, with prior experience of relationship management at Executive levels.
