**As a Kitchen Assistant with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation, cooking and service of food while keeping an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.**

**The Role**

- **To assist as directed with all aspects of food service; ordering, preparation, cooking, presentation and stock control.**:

- **To create, maintain and enhance effective customer relationships, which includes team members, the Client and individuals in the external environment.**:

- **To ensure the prompt service of meals and services at required times to the Company's standard and to the satisfaction of the Clients.**:

- **To be responsible for making sure that any cash/takings belonging to the company are dealt with in the appropriate manner and reconciled accordingly.**:

- **To ensure that the meals and services comply with the agreed budgetary standard and cost.**:

- **To ensure that all company documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner.**:

- **To carry out any reasonable management request.**:

- **To receive and implement any training required.**:

- **To relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other establishments.****:

- **Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site.****:

- **Uphold our Health & Safety values, always keeping a secure and safe environment.****:

- **Keep to deadlines, with prompt service of meals in line with our standards of accuracy.***

**About You**

- **Enthusiastic approach to work**:

- **Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can-do attitude is essential**:

- **Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene**:

- **Prepares, presents and cooks food to a high standard**:

- **Excited about food and tries to promote it**:

- **Is aware of food costs**:

- **You can follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer**:

- **Making sure the customer come first, ensuring their experience is an exceptional one one**:
