**The Role**

- **Supervise the day-to-day operation of the catering department ensuring food & service standards are always of the highest quality and that all Food Safety/Allergens are completed daily and to ensure these are still met when the Manager is off site.****:

- **To supervise front of house operations****:

- **To support the Chef Manager and ensure that presentation, portioning, staffing and costings comply with the agreed budget.****:

- **Place online orders via Saffron, accept invoices, safe/petty cash count, till declarations and inputting the daily takings onto Saffron. Printing the DMP daily.****:

- **Support the Chef Manager to train & develop the catering team to ensure continuous learning & development is taking place.****:

- **To maintain a happy and helpful manner and attitude throughout your working hours and to deal with any customer issues or complaints in a professional manner.****:

- **Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site**:

- **Uphold our Health & Safety values, always keeping a secure and safe environment**:

- **Keep to deadlines, with prompt service of meals in line with our standards of accuracy**:

- **Represent our catering & operations teams always thinking of Client satisfaction**

**About You**

- **Enthusiastic approach to work**:

- **Catering experience is required
- but a positive, can-do attitude is essential**:

- **Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene**:

- **You can follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer**:

- **Making sure the customer come first, ensuring their experience is an exceptional one one**:
