**Sales Admin & Accounts Assistant required in Wakefield, West Yorkshire**
- Basic salary £22,000 depending on experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm. No Weekends

Our client, a Multi-Franchise Main Car Dealer and Used Car Centre in Wakefield, is seeking a Sales Administrator/Accounts Assistant to join their team.

The main purpose of this Sales Admin & Accounts Assistant role is to assistant the Finance Manager in producing accurate and timely Management Accounts for multiple branch locations, To maintain regular balance sheet reconciliations, and to provide accounting support to staff at all levels.

To support the Sales Manager and Sales Executive teams by ensuring efficient administration of the Sales function to achieve and strive to exceed, all sales objectives and to work effectively within the team to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities of a Sales Admin & Accounts Assistant**:

- Cashflow to be updated daily each morning
- Orders printed from Dealerweb and transferred on to Pinnacle
- Any deposits posted on Pinnacle
- All deliveries for the day processed and invoiced once fully paid
- Funding responsibilities - all sold units to be taken off the system and new units to be added as necessary
- Review funding plans twice weekly to ensure all vehicles are appropriated
- Post purchase invoices daily
- Process any payments and when authorised by the Branch Accountant send to Head Office accounts
- Complete a cheque run each month
- Chase sales ledger debts weekly
- Reconcile supplier statements to Pinnacle as required
- Complete bought ledger and sales ledger inter Company transfers
- Complete any other duties as and when required within the month
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of administration and operational tasks, complying all all times with Company procedures and policies
- Meet all deadlines as set by Line Manager and Company procedures.
- The above list of job duties is not exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the role

- A strong understanding of accountancy and book-keeping
- Be reliable, self-disciplined and able to work with speed and to high levels of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills - to deal with Company colleagues, customers and suppliers effectively
- Numerate with strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- Possess a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Be adaptable and flexible to changing situations
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong team player who supports Company initiatives and business objectives
