**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PM AT CG** **What a normal day at work looks like for you**

Day to day, you’ll:

- Lead conception, scope definition, and execution of various types of strategic and operational business transformation initiatives, ranging from Corporate and Operational Strategy to Process Improvement.
- Have ownership of the project, being responsible for resolving issues and following tasks through to conclusion
- Provide metrics and reporting on critical projects to both internal and external customers.
- Act as an active change agent utilising relevant stakeholder analysis and change management techniques
- Managing both internal and external stakeholders to optimise the delivery of your project
- Understand and analyse various drivers to build internal business cases and provide a factbased recommendation to the stakeholders
- Be responsible for ensuring the best possible commercial performance of your projects
- Be a liaison between business functions on projects that have a multidepartmental scope
- Facilitate project meetings and crossfunctional workshops
- Proactively anticipate and work towards mitigating risks to project execution or stakeholder engagement.

**YOUR EXPERIENCE ** **What you bring to the job**

Your background will demonstrate:

- Experience in a similar role
- A proven record for managing multiple simultaneous projects on time and budget
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to conduct outside/inside research and analyse data effectively to develop models and drive analyses
- A focus on strategy, operational processes, and customer experience
- A proven record of performance and trusted professional credibility
- Experience with proven facilitation, change management, and problemsolving
- Comfort in working up and across the organisation - working with senior staff members and frontline employees
- Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking that results in new ideas that drive the business forward
- Track record of handling extremely confidential information appropriately
- Exposure to a fastpaced, customer-focused, service-led business
- Experience in technology, telecommunications or IT services business (desirable)

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS** **About your education and qualifications**

You’ll really need to know your stuff, which means you’ll need:

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- A good understanding of MS Office tools
- Good knowledge of project management software tools, for example, MS Project
- A Prince 2, MSP, or any other recognised project management qualification

**YOUR REGULATORY KNOWLEDGE** **Anything specific you need to know**
- Telecommunications / Network regulatory knowledge would certainly be helpful
- Good understanding of business transformation and project management
