You will play an active role in producing conforming product, on time and in full for our customers. Progression opportunities include expanding your skills over time to become multi-skilled across both injection moulding and extrusion. This is suitable for an individual wanting progression into a more
technical role.

**Output**:

- Carry out daily machine safety checks and report any faults
- Ensure that machine start up, re-start and shut down processes are followed
- Assist with tool changes including; tool preparation, cleaning, material preparation
- Ensure that machines have sufficient material
- Operating, control and monitoring of jobs running
- Take part in fault finding and problem solving of production processes
- Carry out effective housekeeping

**Person Specification**:

- IT skills would be an advantage
- You will have a problem solving mindset and ability to communicate within a team environment
- A conscientious attitude to work and willingness to learn
- Energy, with an eagerness to learn, progress and develop new skills

**Hours**:
You will be employed to work 40 hours per week.

You will be expected to work variable shifts depending on demand. A typical shift would be 8 hours between 06.00 to 14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00 (rotating shifts)

You will be expected to take a flexible approach to working variable shifts depending on demand.
