- WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Reporting into the Senior Customs Compliance Officer you will maintain compliance and auditing processes ensuring control and efficiencies, you will identify issues and risks embedding corrective actions and work closely with local teams ensuring they deliver accurate completion of all import and export declarations, transit movements and are adhering to the direct representation procedures.- You will identify waste in processes, continuously driving and delivering improvements which will positively impact productivity levels, support in growth activities, and actively participate in creating innovative solutions, sharing best practice and knowledge.- You will collate, analyse and present data reports to management, customers and internal stakeholder in relation to customs compliance, ensure work procedures are reviewed regularly and build excellent working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?- Ideally you will have previous experience in HM Revenue & Customs, knowledge of customs procedures, regulations, and systems with the ability to demonstrate a continuous improvement and auditing approach.- You will be experienced at building and developing exceptional internal and external relationships, possess leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop others and be a skilled decision maker and influencer who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.- You will possess excellent communication skills, have a keen eye for detail and experienced in report writing and statistical investigative skills are also key requirements for this role.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?- With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
