Due to a recent promotion, we have an opening in our Training & Compliance team for a **Compliance Assistant**.

Reporting to the Training & Compliance Manager, this role supports the Insurance Sales teams to achieve their Quality and Compliance objectives as part of the PGB business.

**What’s great about the role?**

This role is key to ensuring that we are compliant with both internal business standards and external regulatory requirements by identifying risks from monitoring activities and systems. You will work within a team to contribute to the evaluation of new EEE’s and support them to meet required standards as well as providing feedback and guidance to our EEE's already in the field, on how to meet and exceed our customer service expectations and sales commitments.

You’ll also be involved in AI monitoring, reporting and analysis of data contributing to the delivery of positive outcomes for our Customers.

**What you'll be doing**:
You will develop or build on existing knowledge of our policies and procedures, you will be involved in the Training and Competence processes for our Sales Teams, including conducting Risk Assessments on our engagements with Customers.

You'll ensure compliance with FCA principles, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), Consumer Duty & other legislative/regulatory requirements within FCA and PRA guidelines for all employees through monitoring activity and compliance sign off for sales staff and support investigations when required.

You'll also get involved in pulling together management information relating to compliance activities and identifying trends.

**What are we looking for?**
- Knowledge of FCA regulation, data protection, financial crime, risk management and internal processes and controls.
- Experience working in a regulatory compliance or Quality Assurance team.
- Experience of data analysis and reporting
- Experience in customer service/sales within the FCA and PRA guidelines is desirable.
- Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement.
- Excellent inter-personal skills. The ability to establish and maintain strong and credible working relationships across all areas of Personal Group.
- Able to demonstrate confidentiality in dealing with issues and challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable. Ability to balance workload and changing priorities.
