We are looking for an experienced Transport Compliance administrator to join Scottish Water’s Fleet department, the Customer Vehicles Team (CVT).

The role requires high levels of customer service, providing a monitoring and supportive role for drivers, team leaders and managers, to ensure our drivers and fleet assets remain safe and legally compliant.

Key Activities include:
- Administration of Scottish Water’s Operator Licence through Vehicle Operator Licensing (VOL) portal- Complete internal audits of transport operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements- Complete appropriate driving licence checks (i.e. driving licences, driver qualification cards (DQC), digital driver cards, driver medicals) for all driving Scottish Water vehicles and/or on business journeys- Support transport manager and operational teams to complete driver debriefs as required- Management of shared mailboxes- Build relationships with the customers, suppliers, and other internal departments

Essential Skills:
- Experience working in transport operations and Operator Licence awareness- Sound knowledge of driver’s hours, both EU and GB Domestic- Experience using tachograph analysis systems e.g. (Vision, Tachomaster, SmartAnalaysis)- Experience using fleet management systems e.g. Key2, telematics etc.-
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on your own initiative- You are a clear and engaging communicator, strong verbal, and written English, and will use a variety of methods to keep the team well informed on all important matters- Have energy and drive to deliver beyond expectations and effectively balance priorities and always looking for ideas and opportunities to improve our service and operations

Desirable Skills:
- Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence - Road Haulage- Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) qualification- Knowledge of vans, HGVs, and plant (trailers, excavators etc.)- Up to date awareness of developments and innovation, including electric and alternative fuels

SW’s fleet and stakeholders are located across Scotland, so the role holder would ideally be based in the central belt.

Salary Scale: £24,741- £35,566
