**Finance Partner Operational**:
**Job description**

**The role - What I will be doing?**
- Working closely with the Finance Manager-Operational to deliver high quality month end reports to inform decision making.
- Completing timely and accurate monthly management accounts commentary with variance analysis and presenting to Operational Managers and Director in monthly meetings.
- Posting journals for fleet costs, unallocated invoices, corrections, prepayments and accruals
- Partnering the business providing coding information and helping managers understand what is driving their spend.
- Posting the monthly payroll journal and maintaining the FTE tables
- To provide information for the Finance Manager (Operations) and the Finance Director
- Ad Hoc duties as and when required.
- Support Budget Holders to develop a robust budget.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting Budget Holders with scenario planning, and financial modelling.
- To support on value for money reporting and financial strategy in relation to performance surrounding expenses and identify and drive cost saving initiatives across the respective areas.

**What we’re looking for**
- A part qualified accountant (AAT, ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA) with experience of writing commentary explaining key variances.
- Strong excel skills - VLOOKUP’s, Sumifs, Pivot Tables
