**Warehouse Operative - Goods-In Clerk**
**Stead House
- Darlington**

**Role Purpose**:
This is a service focused role supporting the goods in function, working with drivers to facilitate deliveries, preparing administration, and booking deliveries onto the system for the on-site checkers. Offering support to the Goods-In department with general administration and reporting, working with in house systems.

**A typical day in this role includes**:
Preparing the GRS sheet ready for upcoming deliveries
Book in drivers, administer the delivery notes and reconcile against the daily load schedule, allocating bays within the intake area
Administer the intake of courier deliveries
Prepare all documentation for the on-site checkers
Prepare weekly goods-in report for Operations and System Analyst
Process purchase orders on in-house system
Co-ordinating pallet collections with the appropriate suppliers.
Update Haulback’s board
Administer the daily backhaul monitor report received from SRDC
Print out of date code reports and liaise with appropriate buyers to implement corrective action on short date code issues when they arise, arranging returns where necessary or liaising with stock control to coordinate an uplift
Process stock return authorisations from SRDC via PO manual inputting
Create load manifests for I.D.T’s

**What you’ll need**:
Previous administration experience, working in a fast-paced environment
Great organisation, initiative and a sharp eye for detail
Good teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work on your own
Flexible approach to performing other duties within the warehouse as requested by your Line Manager
An ability to always demonstrate and maintain a high level of health and safety awareness around the warehouse, ensuring own safety and the safety of others
