We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced project manager who is willing to support the development of services for children and young people in Suffolk.

The role will focus on leading, alongside services, to redesign the Neurodevelopment pathway for children and young people in east and west Suffolk.

West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is hosting this post on behalf of Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Commissioning Board and the post holder will work with system partners and current service providers to develop a future service model which is able to respond to current and future service demand.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and project management skills who is also passionate about improving services for children and young people. The ability to foster positive working relationships that lead to the creation of an environment that achieves sustainable change is essential.

Effective transformation and project management skills are essential components of this role as the post holder will work with clinical and system leads within our current neurodevelopment pathways to support the development of a future model of care.

Communication is key as we ensure our future services are co-produced. We are therefore looking for someone who can communicate in a professional manner with a wide variety of people to achieve the best outcome for our children and young people. In keeping with our Trust values, and those of our system partners, we are looking for someone who has exceptional people skills as this role will require you to worth through complex system issues and consider challenges in a compassionate and considered manner.

There will be a direct relationship with commissioning teams within the ICB to ensure that contract, quality and financial impact is understood and considered within future service model options.

Job summary

Suffolk and North East Essex ICS brings together local partners from across the NHS, Local Government, Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector and Primary Care. In 2019, all partners worked together to develop an ICS Five Year System Strategic Plan. This included the NHS Long Term Plan but was far wider in its scope also including priorities for both Health and Wellbeing Boards and wider priorities identified by local partners.

The Transformation Lead will be responsible coordinating activity across providers to support the development of future service model/pathways for neurodevelopment services for children and young people. Effective project and change management expertise will be required to ensure transformation of services to improve access to services for patients, relatives, and carers.

Job responsibilities

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:
This post will work as part of the ICB’s CYP transformation team spanning the Integrated Care System geographic footprint of Ipswich and East Suffolk and West Suffolk which each has its own Alliance delivery vehicle. It will compliment and work with the Alliance Transformation Teams to develop approaches that are ICS aligned, but locally tailored.

The role will support local projects and drive transformation as well as promoting value for money in planning, commissioning, and service quality.
