£30-32,000 + company benefits and working day time shifts only

**THE POSITION**

We are delighted to have been asked to recruit for this Head Chefs position for an established and successful company - a leader in their sector, that continues to trade well in the current climate. You will work alongside the FOH Manager.

The Head Chef we are looking for will have a high volume fresh food background with experience gained in either the branded or independant restaurant/cafe/pub/hotel sectors. And it is a great opportunity for a sous/second chef looking to step up.

It is quick service in style with a morning breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea offer served in lovely relaxed surroundings. All delivered with attentive service putting the customer experience at the heart of everything they do. Everything, including cakesand pastry, is made fresh daily on site to a core company menu.

It is a busy operation so you absolutely need some volume experience.

A massive bonus is that it is a day time only operation, so you will have a great work life balance.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage all day to day aspects of the kitchen
- Prepare and cook the all fresh company core to spec menu
- Control labour, the GP, stock and wastage
- Train, supervise and develop the team
- Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
- Work closely with the FOH restaurant team
- Work to company targets and KPIs'

**KEY EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES**:

- Experience as a Head/Sous Chef gained in busy branded or independent fresh food restaurants, pubs, cafes or hotels
- Excellent people, communication and supervisory skills
- A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
- Passion for cooking with fresh produce and experience cooking core spec menus
- An good understanding of legislation & compliance
- The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
- A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
- IT literate - working with systems & process
