Due to continued expansion **Vine House Farm Shop & Café** are looking for an additional **experienced** **Kitchen Assistant** to join our friendly, hard-working kitchen team in our busy Café located in Deeping St Nicholas, Spalding.
- This is a temporary 3 month contract with the possibility of a permanent position._

Vine House Farm is more than just a Shop & Café - it’s an inclusive destination. Working alongside the Head Chef, Assistant Chef & Kitchen Assistants you will strive to deliver a fantastic customer experience with regards to standards & service, whilst ensuring all relevant legislation, systems & controls in relation to health & safety & food hygiene are strictly adhered to at all times. You will also play a role in maintaining the kitchen and clear-up areas to help ensure our chefs have all they need to deliver meals throughout the day.

Vine House Farm require the following key competencies for the role:

- Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant
- A natural team player, happy to get involved, use your initiative & work with your colleagues to achieve a smooth daily service
- Care & pride in your work & so aim to deliver great results in all that you do
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of food hygiene, safety, allergens & stock rotation

**Above all, you must have an interest creating quality food & are keen to develop your skills & gain experience in a fast paced but supportive environment.**

Our Café is open 7 days, **so the ability to work weekends is essential**. The working hours will be between 8am & 5pm.
