**The Packing and Production section is an imperative stage in our operation, it is the final stage of quality checks and the team within this section are responsible for ensuring all client orders are packed accurately and efficiently.**

**We’re looking for an enthusiastic full time team member to work within the wholesale production team, to use their knowledge and understanding of food safety and have a keen eye for small details - the key element that takes the business from ‘good’ to ‘exceptional’.**

**There are performance related bonuses too for ensuring that hours and productivity reach targets and budgets. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives under pressure, loves to manage a team and takes pride in reaching goals and targets.**

**Who we are**:
We are a long established award winning Sussex borne Fishmongers that have set up a retail outlet within the famous Spa Business Park in our wholesale unit in one of the arches.

We have grown our business organically through excellent quality seafood, sourced in the most sustainable way and offered with the highest level of service to our customers be it in our shops, online or to our growing wholesale range of customers.

We aim to significantly grow our retail sales out of our Bermondsey site and increase our home deliveries & click + collect service through our online store. We also aim to grow our wholesale client base considerably as well as offer cooking classes, fish preparation classes, oyster nights and much more from our site here in Bermondsey.

**The key responsibilities of this role**:

- Coordinate the cutting/packing of stock for that day's orders
- Pick and pack orders in order of priority ready for the next day
- check stock in and fill in all necessary paperwork
- Ensure your team are motivated and achieving targets
- Always maintain a good steady pace with your team to ensure hours worked are as efficient as possible
- Constantly maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Organise and rotate stock at all times to ensure zero waste and maximum efficiency
- Quality control all products according to standard
- Identify any problems and alert a /manager
- Help package products when needed
- Actively understanding each client’s needs and understand how to achieve them
- Complete all daily tasks as allocated by Management
- General cleaning
