Company details:
We are expanding our business to the UK and looking for a professional team to expand operations in the UK. Currently, we are hiring Content Editor to work from our London office.

Position details:
As a content editor, your primary responsibility is to meticulously edit existing content to align with brand guidelines, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to prescribed style through thorough copy editing. You'll meticulously proofread content to eliminate typos and errors, while also ensuring writers follow provided briefs.

Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in content strategy, from assigning tasks to writers to overseeing the final publishing of content. Your duties extend to editing, updating, proofreading, and summarizing reports, manuscripts, articles, speeches, proposals, and other complex materials to maintain consistency in quality, style, and content.

You'll also lead the development and editing of product benefits content, ensuring it resonates with the target audience. Managing the voice quality of all produced content is crucial to maintaining the brand's integrity.

Ultimately, you'll be responsible for the final revisions of all collateral content released by the business, requiring exceptional writing and editorial skills to craft consistent and professional messages across consumer-facing communications, including website pages, blog posts, eBooks, and other publications.

In addition to this, the content editor is detail-oriented and self-sufficient, being able to handle high-quality editing of both online and offline marketing content with mínimal supervision.

A.
- Preparing scripts for educational videos and text guides. Collaborating with experts and educators to create accurate and informative content.
- Supporting projects to create marketing materials, including videos, blogs, and other types of content. Preparing and adapting technical tools and software needed to implement ideas.
- Conducting research to gather data and material for stories, analyzing current trends in education and media.
- Preparing, customizing and maintaining equipment and software for content production and editing. Interacting with the IT department to resolve technical issues.
- Reviewing and editing content for accuracy, readability, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Developing engaging content based on company guidelines and SEO strategies.
- Checking for grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors, and ensuring content consistency.
- Working closely with content creators, designers, and other teams to understand project objectives and produce content accordingly.
- Managing multiple content projects and ensuring they are completed within the timeline.

- Proven experience in writing and proofreading technical documentation for digital tech products.
- 2+ years of working experience as a content editor, journalist or editor.
- Experience in creating educational technical video content.
- A strong grasp of technical concepts and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information.
- Proficiency in modern multimedia technologies, including video and image processing programs (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong word processing skills and ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience preparing technical tools and software for content creation.
- Interpersonal skills to work in a team and with partners.
- Proficiency in graphic design, interaction design, and user interface design. Mastery of design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Miro, Figma, Jira, Confluence.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines is preferred.
- Excellent technical writing skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and conciseness, excellent verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to edit and proofread documents for accuracy and consistency.
- Strong organizational skills to structure and present information logically.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
